Florida Atlantic University

Florida Atlantic University’s, or FAU, Davie campus is located across 38 acres in Broward County and is the University’s second largest campus serving approximately 3,488 students. Home of the Owls, the Davie campus has served FAU students since 1990 and offers programs including Arts and Leisure, Business, Architecture, Urban and Public Affairs, Education, Engineering and Computer Science, Nursing, and Science.

The Davie campus at Florida Atlantic University creates a supportive learning environment for students of nontraditional ages and culturally diverse backgrounds to come together and achieve their academic goals. The campus is located on Broward College’s central campus in Davie, Florida. More than 260,000 square feet of structures classrooms, laboratories and offices are located on this campus along with a shared-use, of an impressive library for Florida Atlantic University and BC students to use. Other support facilities include a shared Childcare Center, a student Wellness Center and a multi-service Student Union.

The campus also offers a rich and varied program of student activities provided by the Division of Student Affairs. Students have all of the services they require for career counseling, wellness, testing and evaluation, tutoring, health services, student government and financial aid, among others. The Davie Campus of Florida Atlantic University is seen as a “model” branch campus for the state of Florida and the nation. The Davie campus of FAU is also the home of “environmental research initiatives focused on Everglades restoration in Florida.
